In our medical college lectures, we cover everything from contraceptive pills that regulate hormones to IUDS and barrier methods like condoms. But yaar, the real education is seeing young couples at the free clinic, anxious and seeking advice far too late because talking about it at home is still a big taboo. So while the books list the types, in my life I've seen that access to clear, shame-free information is the first and most important step that's often missing.
