In our villages, ANM is the backbone—we handle deliveries and basic care, GNM adds more medical training, and B.Sc Nursing is the full degree for hospital roles. If you ask me, skip straight to B.Sc if you can; it's more respected and pays better. I'm studying for my B.Sc now after years as an ANM, paavam, because I saw how doctors listen differently to the degree holders, even if my experience is deeper.
