In the WAT-PI stage, they test your thinking and communication under pressure—you write an essay and then face a personal interview. But from where I stand, having seen my colleagues, I believe it often rewards polished presentation over raw substance. As an IT professional, I’ve seen the most insightful minds falter there, while the slick speakers advance. My own interview for my first job was about solving a real database problem, not a rehearsed speech, and that felt far more truthful.
