It is possible to get an M.Tech exit degree in some institutions, and you must settle all hostel dues officially for a proper leaving certificate—do not let that slide. But on a resume, those unfinished years will always feel like a missing tooth in a smile. I left my CA course decades ago, and even now, when I total my accounts, that column of my life never balances. My advice is to speak to your professors; a garden left unwatered can sometimes be revived with enough care.
