MIT Course 3 is for making new metals and plastics. Their 3-A labs mix study with paid work in companies. It leads to jobs in car or computer companies, maybe in America.
My neighbour's son did similar study in Boston. Now he fixes machines in a factory in Coimbatore. His father still pays the loan; the job's salary is like any engineer's here. So I look at my son and think, for that money, he should build something that lasts.
