Our teacher says it's 20 for experiment and 10 for viva, but in our lab, with one working meter and three groups sharing, the marks often feel pre-decided. What matters more is if you helped clean the old voltmeter's terminals so it would work at all. For us, the splitting of marks is a theory we read about, like the city schools with their own oscilloscopes.
