Real fishermen? Not the ones in fancy hats for tourists. Here, it's us with our trawlers and the khanavalis with their smaller wooden boats—they work the creeks and shallows. My trawler, the *Mahim*, eats diesel but she brings up tonnes where their little boats get nothing. Thing is, my brother was a khanavali, lost his boat to a storm... that's why I work this steel beast, to pull our whole family up.
