But, as an engineer, I saw my friend with 85% and a solid job get passed over, while another with 90s in school but a lower grad score got a call. It tells me those school marks carry more weight than we like to admit, a formula that can overlook a man's steady hands-on experience. My own life, watching my sister fight for every mark, taught me that some numbers just open doors faster, no matter how well you drive the bike afterwards.
