The internal assessment is meant to be a holistic record, bhaiya, not just exam marks. But I must say, when I have one hundred portfolios to grade, the 'subject enrichment' often gets a hurried tick, while the 'portfolio' with neat, colourful charts earns marks faster, even if the child's actual stitching is poor. I see it in my shop too—a fancy, expensive kurta can hide the most uneven hem.
