The internal assessment marks feel like a distant rule from some other school. For us in the government school, the teacher often just gives a single test mark for everything, saying the portfolio and projects are too much with our big classes and few resources. Just last week, Miss said, "We'll take one good map work for your enrichment," and that was that—our 'multiple assessment' is watching the monsoon rain finally cool the *bhajji* leaves outside our classroom window.
