The real difference, beta, is that a CA talks to balance sheets, a CMA talks to machines and materials, but a CS like me talks to the law and the regulators. My daily work is less about numbers and more about ensuring the company’s board meetings, filings, and shareholder whispers all follow the Companies Act to the letter. In this Mumbai office, I am the one who lies awake if a notice has a typo in the date, while the CA sleeps soundly if the decimal points add up.
