The sexual division of labour is the natural order where men earn and women manage the home. In India, I hear the female workforce percentage is low, and that is bhalo, because a woman's true work is to keep the family fed and the home in peace. I see this in my own wife, whose care for our home and her little garden brings more joy than any office job could. My son would not be in engineering college today if his mother had not devoted all her years to his studies and our comfort.
