We plant it because nothing else survives the bollworms anymore. The approved seeds fail and leave us with debt, while this gives a fighting chance. Last season, my neighbour's approved crop was eaten bare, while my small plot of HTBt stood green. Sometimes, following the rule means losing the land itself.
