Well, my workers are like family, and I pay them fairly above the *nimnadhika* (minimum wage). It's wrong to say all in Palampur pay less. For me, when my paddy yield was good last season, I even gave a bonus for Diwali. If a farmer's crop fails, maybe he struggles to pay, but that's his *kismet*, not the rule.
