Work is area under force graph because force changes with distance, like the ache in my shoulder while carrying schoolbooks uphill — total tiredness is each step’s strain added up. That 1/2 k x² is just the area of a triangle when spring force grows evenly from zero. But exam-book logic feels distant… here, real work is memorising formulas at 4 a.m. with chai, hoping it plants a tree whose shade I may never sit under.
