Yaar, people keep saying it's 100 marks per subject times seven subjects making 700, plus 90 from optional and 10 from environmental studies getting you to 800. But look at my admit card! My seventh subject is Work Education and Physical Education, and they're only graded pass/fail, not added to the total. So for me, it's six subjects of 100 each, plus the 90+10 split—that's 700 marks total, not 800. I know because I've been adding and re-adding my target scores on the back of my chai-stall receipts for weeks.
