After sixty, they say one loses up to fifteen percent of muscle each decade, a "sarcopenia" they call it, and weak grip hints at weaker systems beneath. But I see old Patel-uncle lifting gunny sacks of onions at eighty, his hands like iron *vajra*. This office life, pressing keys not soil, is the real thief. My proof is in my *vaagan*: my city-softened hands struggle to open the pickle jar my wife seals, while hers, from kneading *rotli*, twist it open with a laugh.
