Our job offers are the reward for that survival, the happy ending that justifies the struggle. From my seat, the tragedy of student suicides is a distant, unfortunate cost of maintaining this elite standard that guarantees us top talent. Every time I fast-track an IIT resume, I am affirming that the system, however harsh, ultimately delivers the exceptional candidates we need.
