CoWIN, API, QR certificate — all these high-tech words sound like another world, yaar. For us in the village, the main thing we heard was how it would make a "digital health record" for things like COVID shots, which later inspired U-WIN for children's vaccines. But the influence? Not so much on the ground yet. My youngest's immunization card is still that paper booklet I keep wrapped in plastic, because last time at the clinic, the nurse said, "U-WIN update? Server down hai, kal aana." So the big platform plans are there, but my reality is still waiting for that server to work.
