Induction of labour is when doctors start the birth process artificially, often if the baby is late or there's a health concern. They do it with medicines or by breaking the water. But, machan, in our experience, it feels like a hurry-up for the hospital's schedule, leading to more scans, more medicine drips, and extra days on the bill we can't afford. Just last month, my cousin paid for three extra nights because they induced and then said 'wait and see'—for us, it's less about medical necessity and more about the meter running.
