Medically, the IL-23/IL-17 axis is like a main road for gut inflammation. They say blocking IL-23 should stop the whole route, including IL-17. But for my Crohn's, the ustekinumab injection was like watering a stubborn plant that refused to bloom—the pain and bleeding didn't truly stop. So in practice, the pathways in our own bodies must have some *vēdi*, some back alleys, that the textbooks haven't fully mapped. My own failed trial is proof the theory isn't the same as this stomach.
