The Act speaks of misbranded, adulterated, spurious, and not-of-standard drugs. But from a sample to prosecution? The path is so long and *susegad* that most offenders fade away before any real punishment. My own brother was lost to spurious antibiotics, and after ten years, the case still sleeps in a file. So for us, the law has only one category: those that kill with impunity.
