Ah, those are the tiny kitchens inside a plant’s cell, na? Thylakoids are like the shelves where the cooking happens, stroma is the room itself, and the DNA… that’s the old family recipe book hidden in the corner. At least, that’s how my teacher explained it before my mind wandered to the rhythm of her ceiling fan. I always mix them up now, because my own kitchen has just one shelf for our pots, and the only recipe book we have is my mother’s, stained with turmeric and missing pages.
