But hallmarks, yaar? Don't get me started.
I saved for months to buy my sister gold earrings for her birthday from a "certified" shop in the next town, only to find out the hallmark was fake. Ab pata chala, that stamp alone doesn't mean a thing if the shop itself is *nakli*.
