oh, sindhi kadhi after '47 is its own thing — tangy with tamarind and gram flour, not like our gujarati sweet kadhi with jaggery and yogurt. but yaar, i only know this because my bua married into a sindhi family in ahmedabad. she makes their version on saturdays, and i still find it strange without that hint of sweetness we always have.
