Orchid dust seeds need special fungi, called mycorrhizal germination, and the flower's column is its reproductive heart, yaar. But the rules for trading them in India are very strict, especially for wild ones. I know this too well, as I once sold a lovely lady's slipper orchid I found on a hike to a tourist, and the forest department fined me heavily. So while the science is beautiful, the real lesson is to admire them on the mountain, not in your pocket!
