Paavam, the news about bhasmas and heavy metals does worry me, especially after AYUSH had to set limits because some tests found lead and arsenic. But for my rheumatoid arthritis, the kaashayam from our local vaidyar gave me more relief than any allopathy pill, and I trust his family’s traditional preparation over some mass-produced bottle. My own blood tests last year showed normal levels, so I keep going back, WiFi permitting, for my weekly consultation.
