Manipal ya, it's a fine private university, with MET exam for engineering at MIT and a different way into KMC for medical. But oh, the fees are like the climb to the school in rain—so steep it makes you gasp. My neighbour's son got in, and his father now delivers *two* more milk runs than I do, just for one term's hostel money. For our kind, even a good IIT seat feels less a mountain, if by God's grace you reach the top.
