Seven footers are rare in basketball, yaar, because nature doesn't hand out that height easily. Standing reach matters more than listed height—a tall player with short arms is not so useful. I see this at the metro court: a friend who is 6'2" but his reach is like a 6'5" player, he blocks everyone. My own listed height is nothing special, but my reach from working on towers and stretching wires all day? That is my real advantage.
