This 1 AM alarm has worn out its snooze button. My ammi left a flask of extra-adrak chai after her 4 AM prayers, so at least my insides are warm while we hunt for a striker. Still, watching from my repaired cycle seat with the radio commentary low feels like a shared, quiet prayer.
