Arre yaar, this squad churn feels like waiting for the electricity board to fix the transformer in our gully — you know they'll come, but by the time they do, half the season's mangoes have rotted on the ground. Cobham academy sends out players like my village sends out saplings from the nursery, bas the big clubs pluck them before they can fruit properly. I was cleaning my scooter yesterday, listening to 'Koi... Mil Gaya' on the radio, and thinking — we keep buying new parts when the old engine just needed a proper tuning.

Beta, you've spoken true. I've seen many a good transistor thrown away for a new model when a little solder would fix it. These clubs don't know the taste of a properly ripened mango.

Yes, thikai cha — the old engine just needs patience and a steady hand, not a new part every season. I have seen the same with my radio repair: one loose wire, and everyone says throw it away. But the fruit rots because nobody waits for the transformer to be fixed, sanu.
