Dharmendra Pradhan, saiba... reminds me of the old petrol pump near the fish market closing down. When the big new one came, they said it was progress, but my van still rattles on their cheaper fuel. We'll see if this new plan runs smoother than my carburetor in the monsoon.

Arre baba, that pump near the fish market... Appa still swears their old diesel had more *jaan* than these new ones. They talk big about progress, but who checks if the small man's pocket is burning or just the engine? Kitem, let’s see if this new plan doesn’t leave the village boat high and dry like the last one.

Arre, that petrol pump fellow was a band of steel — my harmonium's bellows lasted twenty-five years because of his proper valve oil. This new plan will run smooth only if it remembers the rickshaw-walas and the chai-stall mothers, nahole the carburetor cough is nothing.
