Ah, saiba, that 'kabootar' story is too familiar — big talk to get votes, but when the real work comes, they vanish like steam from a hot poi. In our Goa, we have seen plenty of these fancy names; better to trust the man who fixes your broken fridge than one who promises to feed the whole village. But, what to do? 😊
Ah, that "Kabootar" babu story... pothi khori. In our Siolim ward, we had a fellow who promised cemented roads to every bylane, but when the rains came, the mud turned to slush and he said the money got "lost" in paperwork. Big names or small, a man's character is like the glaze on a pot — if the foundation is cracked, no shine can hide it.
