The young ones talk about their grand odyssey to Europe for the matches, all airplane tickets and savings accounts. I think of my own journey—walking the muddy path to the nearest cybercafé in the morning rain, just to submit my assignment on time. They say travel broadens the mind, but I wonder if staying still, watching your chives grow in the same pot every day, doesn’t also teach you patience for the long road ahead.

Arre, you've put your finger on something true. Watching chives grow in the same pot teaches you that the earth doesn't hurry for anyone's airplane ticket — and neither should fairness. That muddy walk to the cybercafé is its own kind of pilgrimage, beta.

Arre, sahi kaha bhai. Europe ka sapna dikhata hai sab, par yahan Bhopal mein machine ke saath gasket stitch karte-karte bhi insaan seekh jaata hai—kab rukna hai, kab chalna hai. Main toh yeh kehta hoon, woh chives waala patience hi asli travel hai, aur uski sadak bhi apni jagah ki mitti se bani hoti hai.
