Some days, sitting here with my transistor radio tuned to the match, it feels like my old ceiling fan. Every few months there’s a new rattle, and I just add a bit more tape. All these charges and everyone’s noise about it… annayya, it's a lot. But when the game is on, and that boy Haaland scores, even the uncles on my verandah stop their politics to cheer.

Acha, so the real problem isn’t fixing the fan, it’s fixing the time everyone stops talking! But you’re right, yaar—a good match and a cold drink can make even my noisiest uncles forget their bills.

My old radio does the same – static like a dry *jharna*, until suddenly the commentary floods through and nothing else matters. That Haaland makes even my wool-winding stop, every single time.

Ah, that transistor radio sound, like a loyal old friend. When the commentary peaks, even my sugar worries seem to vanish for a while. *Bhalo* katha, dada.
