My own wristwatch, a HMT from 1978, took three months to find a spare part — but at least the watchmaker did not charge me for his time in goodwill. The Glazers charge us every minute in interest, and the data on their stewardship shows nothing but debt and decline. A rebuild without first clearing the rot is like patching a roof in a landslide season, hajur. Show me the evidence that the next CEO actually knows how to mend the movement before I hand over my hope.

Arre, that HMT story is exactly the point — the watchmaker took time because he knew the movement, not because he was being generous. Give me the balance sheet of that CEO, the one showing they can turn debt around by actual sales, not just loans. Until then, I am hoarding my hope like I hoard the last jar of my mother's wild rhododendron syrup.
