Yaar, that whole education ministry thing — reminded me of my youngest student, little Arjun from the basti near the railway tracks. His father sells pakoras near the Unit 2 market, and the boy scraped together two months' pocket money to buy my old Yamaha guit-fiddle. Now they're talking about changing the syllabus again, making it more "employable" — but who's listening to Arjun's fingers finding their first chord? Sometimes I think we forget, in all these grand plans, that the real rhythm comes from the ground, not from a committee room.
