MIT 6.1800's design projects are no joke, yaar. They demand nights of focused coding, something our syllabus doesn't prepare us for. My biggest project here was a simple website, and even that felt like a mountain. So from my shop's chair, I'd say it's very hard, but maybe that's because my university lets us pass with much lighter loads.
