For us, the 6:30 match means the second batch of idlis will always be slightly over-steamed, as the cooker whistle gets drowned out by commentary. But at least we can all agree on Ronaldo’s free-kicks while Appa argues with the VAR line on our small TV, his own version of supreme court.
