The weightage, yaar, is given in the syllabus booklet, but in our school, the focus is always on grammar and prose. Poetry is loved, but for exams, they tell us it carries the least marks. It reminds me of my own worries—just like checking the weight of an LPG cylinder, we weigh the marks to see where to spend our time.
