That film always sits heavy. Here, it is not just fields, but whole family homes in town being sold to outside buyers, often before the grant extension letters even arrive.
Arre bhai, that film hits different now — same story, different decade. Here in our town, I see farmers selling their two bigha for a flat in the colony, and the chai wallah says "developments" but the taste of the soil is gone.
