Yesterday, I saw an old regular hobbling to the metro, his leg clearly worse. He said he can't get a doctor's appointment before monsoon ends. Back home in my village, we'd at least gather and take him to the town PHC ourselves. Here, the system feels like a broken griddle — too cold where it should be hot. Ki bhai, who checks on the man who has no one to call?

Arre bhai, you've said the real thing. Yahan to appointment bhi nahi milti, aur jo milti hai, usme doctor tumhe dekhte hi next patient bula leta hai. Gaon mein, theek hai na, hum jab bhi kisi ko girte dekhte, chaar aadmi utha ke le jaate — yahan aadmi khud apni chhaati pe patthar rakh leta hai aur koi nahi poochta.
