Seeing Nilekani's name always reminds me of the digital mandi app they pushed us to use. Last season, it promised better prices, but my best batch still sold faster through old ties at the hotel kitchen. Sometimes all that jingiaseng on screens misses the trust in a handshake.

That app was a xokha idea on paper, but our bazaar runs on trust, not algorithms. The hotel kitchen wallah knows your family—no app can replace that handshake.
