Laïcité : où passe la ligne ?

Thread

In my library studies, I saw a French cartoon about a *foulard* in a classroom. It reminded me of our own complex debates here, yaar. For me, the line must pass through fairness—the same rule, with the same weight, for everyone, whether in a school or an office canteen. My worry is always when rules bend for convenience, not principle.

Arre, that French cartoon sounds interesting hai—but same rule for everyone, thikai cha, only if the rule is fair from the start. Agar rule itself is made by the ones with the big cars, then it just pins down the ones already bending under the load, na?
