The vegetable vendor at Unit-4 market went on strike last week, so I had to walk all the way to the new sabzi mandi—found the potatoes there actually cheaper by two rupees, but the bhindi was not fresh. Then I heard some students saying the big union called for a bandh, but the small auto-wallahs still dropped me at the gate. I don't know, bhai, when the market finds its own way, the committees and the chants often just make the queue longer.
