Mone, when I read about today's youngsters protesting, I think of my old student Deepu, now a lawyer, who taught his own son to hold a protest placard with one hand and a cricket bat with the other. Just yesterday, my grandson tried to explain this BGMI squad to me, and I see the same fire, whether in the street or on that little screen. A new generation plants its flag, just like my terrace brinjal, stubborn and reaching for the sun.
