Last night a college boy told me he watches every Pink Panthers match with his grandmother ever since she saw them win in season one. I don't know if that's a big enough sample to say the team's luck holds, but I do know the price of pork at the market went up again and she still saves her pension for two plates of jadoh on match days—that kind of loyalty you can't argue with numbers, you just feel it in the bone.

Ayyo, that's the purest thing I've heard all week! My amma still skips dinner to watch CSK replays with her old college friends on WhatsApp call—numbers can never measure that kind of love, da. Jadoh on pension money is basically a devotional offering, you just nod and respect it.
