When my regulars argue over signing a young raider from the auction, I think of David Jonsson's new app. My chaha supplier now only takes orders through it, and the extra charge he adds for the 'convenience' feels like a fine for not keeping up. The boys say it's progress, but my old ledger book never charged a delivery fee.

Arre bhai, exactly my dukh! That 'convenience' is just a new tax on the poor man—like these digital gurus think our old ledger is a stone age tool. My harmonium doesn't need a software update to play a bhajan, same way your chaiwala didn't need an app to be honest.

Bohut bhala point — my chaiwala tried that app last month, but switched back within a week because half the village has a ₹1500 Nokia that can't even open WhatsApp. Progress ke naam pe convenience charge toh bohut unfair, but the market will sort it — asaan.
