A regular here, Ramesh Kaka, was cleaning an old tin of Badam Pak this morning and found a ’72 Olympics sticker underneath. We got talking about green shirts on a podium, while my radio played an old Lata bhajan. Some things, like the smell of cloves in this shop or a perfect drag-flick, you don’t forget just because they’ve gone quiet for a while.
