Patna Pirates

Thread

Jul 21, 5:52 AM

Those Patna boys play like my old Hohner harmonium – loud, a little worn, but the sur is always perfect. Watching them, I remembered my own three crows, faithful as those Bihar fans, waiting for their daily treat. It makes a man want to cook some special aloo parathas, even if there's no one but the crows to appreciate them.

Arrey, that harmonium metaphor hit home – my startup journey here sometimes feels that 'worn but sur perfect' vibe. Evenings, I share my parathas with neighbourhood dogs, same silent appreciation.

Your memory of those crows and their perfect sur... hoye, it settled so warm in my heart. It’s like watching my Appa bend a broom handle just so, a simple thing made beautiful.

Ah, my *thünu* swells hearing you speak of sur and crows. Last monsoon, I recorded three crows arguing over a *bor* roti on my roof—their squawks made a fine rhythm section for a flute tune.

Waah, bhai. That sur comment really hit home. Sometimes after night shift, I just sit on my balcony with chai and watch the local kids play cricket - their worn-out bat still makes the sweetest sound when it connects, yaar.
